The Jewel for telegraphists

Many years ago, when I was still living in Turin, an extraordinary OM, Salvatore IK1OJM, hand-made for me this excellent key.
Being a digital mode fan, I haven't exploited it enough.
This key deserves spending more time on CW! From now on, I will use it at least for one QSO per week. At least until when I will reach a contest speed, to exploit it even more.

Now only AK and HI missing for my JT65 WAS.
If it happens that you read this blog, you are in AK and HI and you are active in JT65, pls send me a mail to on8vm@uba.be for a sked.

Great improvement in JT65 software: WSJT-X enhanced by UA3DJY (JTDX v16.4)

Testing since few days a new JT65 software: an enhanced version of WSJT-X 1.7.0-devel, made by UA3DJY. The best JT65 software I've tried so far!

The latest version is available here.

Impressive opening on 30m tonight

My JT65 signal heard from US to Australia.

Interesting developments on a cheap DMR radio

Take a look at the article on hackaday.com and va3xpr.net about the reverse engineering and a new firmware for the TYT MD-380.

Still 5 countries to be confirmed to reach the "100" threshold on 40m

On 10, 15 and 20m is done. Still need 5 confirmed countries to reach 100 on 40m.
Once the new wire antenna will be in place, it will be time to increase the score on 80m!

Also VP8SGI! And again on 17m/CW

Excellent CW operator, probably the same of the QSO with VP8STI.
